During the month of February 2026, multiple thefts from vehicles and vehicle burglaries occurred during the early hours of the morning. Credit cards stolen during the crimes were later used at a local establishment. Deputies assigned to the Moorpark Police Department patrol services responded and conducted a thorough investigation. During the initial investigation from patrol, surveillance footage of a vehicle and suspect were located.
