class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de un capit\u00e1n, las responsabilidades de la Unidad de Asuntos Internos est\u00e1n dictadas por el Estatuto del Estado de California y requieren que la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Ventura investigue todas las quejas de los ciudadanos presentadas contra nuestro personal. Nuestra pol\u00edtica y nuestros procedimientos tambi\u00e9n autorizan a Asuntos Internos a iniciar investigaciones administrativas, por una buena causa, bas\u00e1ndose en informaci\u00f3n de fuentes distintas a los ciudadanos.<\/p><p>Asuntos Internos es la \u00fanica unidad de inspecci\u00f3n formal de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Ventura. Todas las investigaciones reciben una resoluci\u00f3n formal:<\/p><ul><li>Infundado: La acusaci\u00f3n es falsa y no est\u00e1 respaldada por la evidencia.<\/li><li>Exonerado: El incidente denunciado ocurri\u00f3, pero el empleado involucrado actu\u00f3 de manera legal y correcta.<\/li><li>No sustentado: La investigaci\u00f3n no revel\u00f3 suficiente informaci\u00f3n para probar o refutar la acusaci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Sostenido: La alegaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 respaldada por la evidencia.<\/li><li>Desestimada: Una queja se considera desestimada debido a falta de m\u00e9rito; el denunciante retira la queja o se niega a cooperar con la investigaci\u00f3n y\/o no hay pruebas suficientes o fuentes alternativas de informaci\u00f3n para seguir investigando el asunto.<\/li><\/ul><p>Si la acusaci\u00f3n contra un empleado se confirma, el alguacil o un supervisor que act\u00fae en su nombre tomar\u00e1 las medidas correctivas adecuadas. Estas medidas pueden incluir capacitaci\u00f3n adicional, reprimenda verbal o escrita o suspensi\u00f3n sin goce de sueldo.
