In July 2025, detectives from the Thousand Oaks Directed Enforcement Unit (DEU) launched an investigation into Arcenio Zuniga-Moncada. During the investigation, detectives discovered that Zuniga-Moncada was selling controlled substances to juveniles and residents in Thousand Oaks.
