The Ojai Police Department, in partnership with Ojai Parks and Recreation, will host a free E-Bike Safety Event on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Sarzotti Park Multipurpose Room (510 Park Road, Ojai). This community-focused event is open to the public and requires no registration.
As e-bikes continue to grow in popularity across the Ojai Valley, this event is designed to provide families, riders, and community members with clear, practical information on how to ride safely and within the law. Attendees will learn the key differences between street-legal e-bikes and illegal off-highway electric motorcycles, as well as current laws and regulations, including those that specifically apply to juveniles.
