Oak Park man was arrested following an armed confrontation and SWAT Team response.
On 07/07/2026, at 1:55 PM, East County Patrol deputies responded to a report of a man brandishing a firearm in the 5800 block of Hickory Drive in Oak Park. While deputies were in route to the location, Sheriff’s Communication Center dispatchers remained on the phone with the reporting party and heard what appeared to be a gunshot coming from the area.
