During the month of January 2026, Moorpark patrol deputies responded to a call of two juveniles overdosing on marijuana edibles. A report was taken and the case was handed over to the Moorpark Investigations Unit. Investigators identified a male juvenile, who resides in the city of Moorpark, as the individual responsible for the sale of the marijuana edibles. It was discovered the male juvenile primarily used social media platforms to facilitate the sale of marijuana products to other juveniles. VC FOCUS detectives were contacted regarding the case and assisted in the investigation.
