On February 12El, 2026, a residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Via Patricia, a location within the Dos Vientos Community of Thousand Oaks. On April 24El, 2026, another residential burglary was reported in the 5200 Block of Via Rincon, a location approximately 200 yards from the Via Patricia residence. Using information from both crimes, Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives with the East County Investigations Bureau quickly identified two vehicles used to commit the burglary. Through various investigative resources, detectives were able to locate the two vehicles in Los Angeles.
